Privacy policy

TaxFiler.ae ("TaxFiler", "we") takes the protection of the financial and personal data you entrust to us seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and what rights you have under UAE law. If a court of competent jurisdiction in the UAE later requires changes, this document is updated and the "last updated" date above moves forward.

UAE PDPL compliance

TaxFiler is committed to compliance with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). We process data for the purposes of providing the accounting service, maintain UAE data residency on the production roadmap, and support data subject rights (access, correction, deletion, portability).

Data we collect

• Account: email, name, locale (en/ar)
• Organization: legal name, TRN, trade licence, emirate
• Ledger: invoices, bills, journal entries you create
• Receipts and documents you upload
• Bank transactions you import (via Lean or upload)
• Usage telemetry (anonymized)

Sub-processors

Currently: Supabase (auth + Postgres, eu-central-1), Anthropic (Khabir AI reasoning), Mistral (Khabir AI classification / vision), Resend (email), Sentry (errors).
